Pass/No Credit Option

Adult undergraduate students may take two pass/no credit courses outside of the major requirements unless otherwise stipulated by the major. Students may take only one pass/no credit course per semester for a total of two courses on the student’s transcript. A passing grade in this option equates to a "C" or better, and pass/no credit courses do not have an impact on the student’s GPA. Students may register for pass/no credit and may switch to credit no later than the published add/drop date. A change from credit to pass/no credit must also take place during the published add/drop date. The pass/no credit option encourages students to take electives for intellectual exploration. This option does not affect classes that already have departmental pass/fail or pass/no credit. Additional information is available in the Registrar's Office.
