MGT 408 Human Resource Management

(Formerly BA 408) Overview of human resource management and the role of line managers and HR professionals in recruiting, developing, and retaining a competent work force. Topics include job analysis and design, human resource planning, recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, compensation benefits, labor relations and equal opportunity employment laws. Examination of recent trends in work force diversity and global competitiveness.

Prerequisite(s): MGT 204 and MGT 310 recommended. Offered periodically.
