The main library at the Greenspring campus houses most of the books and media available for checkout. The library in the School of Business and Leadership at Owings Mills features reference materials covering paralegal studies, business, and related disciplines. Both libraries feature browsing collections with entertainment reading. Students may search the Shared Resources Catalog (SHARC) on the library website to find specific books and media.
Since 2005, the Stevenson University Library has been a member of the Maryland Interlibrary Consortium (MIC), with five area colleges providing access to shared collections of over a million volumes. Students can request materials from partner libraries for delivery to the Greenspring and Owings Mills campuses within 24 hours. Details are on the website. A complete listing of more than 50 databases featuring electronic journals, magazines, and newspapers is viewable at the library website by following the databases link. A few of the databases to which Stevenson subscribes include Lexis-Nexis Academic, Business Source Premiere, The Baltimore Sun, and Science Direct. There are over 64,000 full text magazines, journals, and newspapers from a single source. Most of these electronic resources are searchable from home or office.
Reference and research help are available in person, by phone, and electronically via chat and email. The AskUsNow virtual reference service provides access to a Maryland librarian (or one from another location) via live chat 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This service may be accessed from the library web page.
Students have a choice of study environments at the Greenspring location, including wireless network access, individual study carrels, listening/viewing rooms for media, group study areas, a computer lab/library instruction classroom, and lounge and quiet study areas. The Brown School of Business and Leadership Library features extended late hours during the regular semester, study rooms, a computer lab, and more. There are 56 public computers at the Greenspring Library and 32 at the Brown School of Business Library which also includes 10 iMacs with multiple printers at each location.

Library hours at the Greenspring campus during the semester are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Brown School of Business and Leadership Library is open at noon on Sunday, continuously until 5:00 p.m. on the following Friday, and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
