CHEM 110 Foundations of General, Organic and Biochemistry 3 credits Introduces the basic concepts of general chemistry. This course includes atomic structure, chemical reactions, solutions, acid base chemistry and nuclear chemistry; organic chemistry, including basic functional groups and reactions; and biochemistry, including the composition and properties of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and nucleic acids.
