HCM 620 Human Resources Development in Healthcare

Examines human resources management (HRM) from a strategic and administrative perspective. Students will conduct analyses of the impact of environmental forces, including state and federal legislation, on HRM. Emphasis will be placed on the key role of employees as drivers of organizational performance, workforce planning/recruitment, and employee retention. Current issues in HRM will be examined through case studies and analyses of real world examples.
