MATH 321 Introduction to Differential Equations 3 credits, Fall or Spring (offered as needed) Introduces the student to the application of calculus, particularly in the area of mathematical modeling. Topics covered include quantitative and qualitative solutions to ordinary differential equations and systems of equations. Computer-based numerical methods will be introduced. Discrete dynamical systems and chaotic systems will be covered as time permits. Prerequisite(s): A grade of "C" or better in MATH 221 |
