ENG 340 Period Studies

3 credits, Fall and Spring

Examines a select group of texts representative of the discourse of a particular place at a particular time. Students will analyze texts as responses and contributions to the historical context of the period and the culture.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of "C-" or better in two 200-level literature courses; or a grade of "B-" or better in one 200-level literature course and permission of the English Department chair.
