ED 340 Methods for Teaching Social Studies: Elementary

Prepares students to become effective social studies educators capable of teaching elementary students the content knowledge, intellectual skills, and civic values necessary for fulfilling the responsibilities of citizenship in a participatory democracy. In this course, special attention is given to effective teaching strategies and to addressing the individual and cultural diversity of all learners.
