PHSCI 210 Environmental Geology 4 credits, Spring Studies geologic principles as they relate to human activities. The course examines how geologic processes and hazards influence human activities. The geologic aspects of water pollution, shoreline and coastal processes, the use of mineral and water resources, and the effect of population on the environment are explored.
