PSY 309 Field Placement

1-3 credits, Fall, Spring, and Summer

Provides a field experience designed to meet specific academic and professional objectives. This course affords students the opportunity to develop professional experience and to apply the knowledge, theories, and concepts learned in academic classes to student performance in a professional work setting, with significant supervision. Not required, but highly recommended. Approval of field placement coordinator required. Forty hours per credit.

Prerequisite(s): Sophomore psychology major status; A grade of "C-" or better in PSY 101 and PSY 108; minimum GPA of 2.00
