PSY 370 Biological Psychology

3 credits, Fall and Spring

Examines the biological bases of behavior with emphasis on how the brain creates the mind/consciousness. A study of brain development, vision, sleep and dreaming, emotions, motivation, the biological basis of learning and memory, and coverage of debates about animal research and how the brain relates to the mind.

Prerequisite(s): A grade of "C-" or better in PSY 101, PSY 200, and BIO 130, third-year status or permission of instructor
