HIST 210 African American History

Traces the struggles, accomplishments, and impact of African Americans through the course of United States history. The course explores the cultural heritage of African peoples, the impact of the slave trade, slavery, and the development of racism. It also traces the struggle for freedom and justice in America from the colonial period up to the present.

Prerequisite(s): ENG 152 or equivalent
