MT 310 Hematology I 3 credits, Spring Introduces the fundamental concepts in hematology with in-depth study of hematopoiesis, erythropoiesis, anemias, and hemoglobinopathies. Granulopoiesis and qualitative white blood cell abnormalities are introduced. Topics include normal and abnormal hematology, normal physiology and pathophysiology, and the correlation of laboratory data to diagnosis.
