BIO 211 Genetics and Society
3 credits, Fall or Spring (offered as needed)
Introduces the major principles of genetics and explores the impact of genetics on society. Students will apply their knowledge to the understanding of genetics-related issues in the media and be able to effectively communicate their understanding of the major principles in genetics. This course does not satisfy a minor requirement in biology.
Prerequisite(s): Restricted to non-science majors
